Bregenzerwälder architect Oskar Leo Kaufmann’s book was  produced by the publishers Lustenau (BuLu) and received the award as one of the “most beautiful books of Austria 2016” in the Federal Chancellery in Vienna in spring 2017. The book is the result of an intensive working project of more than 2 ½ years. “The production of the collapsible book on 60 g thin paper was a challenge for our employees and clear proof of their outstanding skills and talent “ said BuLu managing director Christine Schwarz-Fuchs.

The Jury`s public statement:

This monography  can be compared to a “white brick“. All it’s images, plans and drawings are shown in excellent quality on thin paper.  A clever format split doubles the volumes connected and guarantees a cunning relationship of the individual contents. All together it is a strong statement for outstanding working standards.

In addition, this very special book project was also honored by the Deutschen Instituts Druck (DID/German Institute for Printing)
